Atiku Haske Organisation, Niger Chapter Throws Weight Behind ADC
Minna, Niger State – The Niger State chapter of the Atiku Haske Organisation has officially declared its support for the African Democratic Congress (ADC), the newly adopted political platform of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued by the chapter’s leader, Aminu Sani Bello, the group said its decision was borne out of “urgent concerns about the political realities in Nigeria,” adding that there was a pressing need for a realignment with a platform that offers credible leadership and a clear alternative to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
“It has become pertinent to rally around a strong and viable political platform that can serve as a reliable and dependable vehicle for rescuing Nigeria from the grips of failed leadership,” the statement read.
Bello further noted that after a careful assessment of the prevailing political climate, the organisation resolved to join the coalition backing the ADC, in line with the direction of its principal, Atiku Abubakar.
“We studied the political situation in the country and resolved to join forces with the coalition that has adopted the ADC to rescue Nigeria. We are left with no option but to follow our principal, His Excellency Atiku Abubakar, to any party of his choice,” he said.
The organisation described Atiku as a seasoned politician with the experience, capacity, and leadership qualities required to tackle Nigeria’s challenges, including insecurity, economic hardship, and poor governance.
“At this junction, we cannot afford to gamble with leadership. We need someone who understands the terrain and can hit the ground running. This is why we are calling on our brothers and sisters in the southern part of the country to support Atiku in 2027.”
Reaffirming its commitment to the Atiku project, the group pledged to mobilise youths and resources across the country to ensure a change of leadership in 2027.
“Nigeria is blessed with vast human and natural resources. All we need is the right leadership—and we strongly believe Atiku Abubakar is the one who can lift the country from the trenches of poverty and maladministration.”
The statement concluded with a nationwide appeal, urging Nigerians from all walks of life—regardless of region, ethnicity, or religion—to rally behind Atiku Abubakar as the most viable alternative capable to make Nigeria a greater and prosperous nation again.
