Afegbua extols Col. Sani Bello @ 80

An APC Chieftain, Prince Idris Afegbua has paid a glowing tribute to former Military Administrator of Old Kano State, Col. Sani Bello as he turns 80.

Afegbua in a statement issued and signed on Sunday described the celebrant as a living
legend, selfless and philanthropist worthy of emulation.

He said the former Nigerian High Commissioner to Zimbabwe has demonstrated capacity, competence, dedication and steadfastness to the growth and development of the Nation during and after active service.

Afegbua observed that the celebrant has remained consistent in giving his best to the society hence he has become a successful businessman and a great philanthropist that has impacted positively on many lives.

According to him “On behalf of myself and my family, I wish to felicitate with you as you attain the auspicious age of 80.

“I join your family members, friends and
political associates in celebrating the auspicious moment with you, heralded by many years of service to the nation and humanity.

“As an accomplished entrepreneur and philanthropist, I am
particularly pleased by the commitment you have shown to the plight of the disadvantaged in the society especially women and children.

“I am proud to have you as a fathe, a mentor. You have
no doubt remained a reference point in service to humanity. Your impact on the society is great and glaring. Posterity will no doubt be kind to you.

“At 80, “Col Sani Bello has distinguished himself as a global citizen deeply rooted in his community, and committed to the common good of the people in his immediate constituency.

“This is exemplified in his philanthropic activities through Sani Bello
Foundation.

“The former military administrator served the country in various capacity both as a serving and retired military officer,” he said

Afegbua prayed ALLAAH SWT to grant the elder statesman more years in good health and wisdom to continue to offer his fatherly advice to Niger State Government and Nigeria.
