In Kaduna, in my own very eyes I have watched leaders come and go, from the military regimes, second republic civilian rule but the Uba Sani I know is different. He is quite unique and got in him the leadership tempo of a rare gem.

He is a one-man who sees it all when it comes to the needs of the people. He sees the high and the lowly, the high and the mighty. In him, the market woman in Kawo, business owners of the popular kasuwan Barchi, the farmers in Saminaka and in Giwa, the students KADSU, in ABU Zaria and the businessman in Kaduna metropolis would tell you “we all have a governor who listens.”

Uba Sani stands out, and what stands him out is his bottom-top approach to leadership. He leads with high passion to deliver the dividends of democracy to all citizens of Kaduna, regardless of status, religion or political leaning. The Man in the village of Garun Kurama is happy with his style of leadership, same with Ungwan Rimi GR Man.

I have seen him sit with the common man in the morning to understand the pain of the street, and in the evening, sit with the elites and the political class of diverse interests to make them understand his dream of a better and a new Kaduna State. That ability to balance both worlds is rare, and it is the reason peace is gradually returning to our dear state.

His transformation agenda is visible in all sectors. From rural roads that have opened up our agrarian communities, to the remodeling of schools and primary healthcare centres, to his quiet but massive push in security management and investment drive — Uba Sani is not making noise, he is making impact.

It is a wake-up call to all and sundry. The goodwill he has built, the calm he has brought to governance, the inclusiveness he has entrenched — we must not allow it to stop halfway.

The Uba Sani I know does not discriminate. He governs for all. And that is why his coming back in the 2027 general election is a must, to do more, to perfect what he has started, and to complete the building of the New Kaduna we all desire.

Kaduna has tested him, and Kaduna will trust him again. Let safe guard our votes, consolidates our votes for APC, in the interest of Kaduna, Nigeria.
